Samsung needed a launch for the Galaxy S10 that could showcase the phone's camera and connectivity features across eight cities worldwide without losing a consistent creative thread.
DE-YAN designed and produced YOUniverse, a three-installation experience that turned each guest's own biometric data into the raw material of the piece. In Field of Hearts, two people's heartbeats combined into a shared symphony of light, captured on the S10's Ultra Wide Lens. In Sonic Radiance, guests used their own voice to paint the room with light, shot through the S10's Dual Aperture mode. In Ocular Odyssey, an exploration of the eye's hidden detail showcased the phone's True Eye and Live Focus camera features. Each room paired a piece of cosmic, human-scale poetry (we all originated from the same star matter) with a specific phone feature.
