La Mer needed an experience for the World Congress of Dermatology in Singapore that could make the science behind Miracle Broth feel as credible to dermatologists as it does desirable to consumers, without losing the brand's sense of wonder.
DE-YAN designed and produced a multi-room journey that turned La Mer's hero ingredient into a physical, walkable narrative. Guests opened in the Canticle of Kelp, an immersive projection-and-sound environment built around giant sea kelp's regenerative properties, then moved into the Miracle Lab, where a cymatics station used sound to visualize the science of fermentation, paired with a Fermentation Apothecary and Inflammation station exploring how Miracle Broth counteracts skin stress at a cellular level. The journey closed at the Moisture Icons fountain, a sculptural water installation built around La Mer's core product line, before guests reached a dedicated room to explore the full product offering with La Mer experts on hand. The activation generated coverage in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Robb Report, among others.
