Nicola Formichetti needed a brand identity and visual system for Nicopanda that could hold up across global pop-up retail and position it as a true street style icon.
DE-YAN handled branding, art direction, and visual concept for the full brand, designed to live in specially built pop-up stores worldwide. The result was a punk, kawaii-coded identity that became the connective thread across collaborations with Hello Kitty, MAC Cosmetics, Lady Gaga, and Lane Crawford, among others. Nicopanda became an internationally recognized streetwear brand with a distinct visual identity.
