Client Director
Location: NYC
DE-YAN is seeking a Client Director / Senior Producer hybrid to lead client relationships while driving the execution of ambitious, culture-shaping creative work across experiential, creative technology, motion, content, and integrated campaigns.
This role sits at the intersection of client strategy, creative partnership, and production leadership — ideal for someone who is equally comfortable interfacing to executive clients, shaping scopes and growth opportunities, and leading multidisciplinary teams through complex productions from concept to launch.
The ideal candidate understands how to balance creative ambition with operational precision, bringing a deep knowledge of luxury, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment, and technology brands.
What you’ll do
Client Leadership & Account Strategy

- Identify and surface emerging client needs — including those clients may not yet recognize — and translate them into solutions aligned with their business objectives
- Build and deepen relationship networks within client organizations, expanding our presence across teams and business units
- Anticipate risks before they surface and resolve issues with clarity and diplomacy
- Lead presentations, project framing, scope development, timelines, and budget discussions
- Champion a high standard of client experience throughout every phase of engagement
Revenue & Business Operations
- Help own the revenue pipeline for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and pipeline health at all times
- Lead commercial conversations on SOWs and scope discussions, partnering with VP Client Services, finance, and legal on more complex agreements
- Drive achievement of annual account-level net revenue, margin, and profitability targets
- Identify and lead organic growth opportunities, supporting sustainable, multi-year relationship expansion
- Partner with finance and operations on account profitability, scope-to-budget alignment, and resource forecasting
Creative Production Leadership
- Champion the work — protecting the creative ambition of every project while ensuring it lands strategically and commercially
- Oversee integrated productions from creative development through execution and delivery
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across experiential, creative technology, motion, graphics, fabrication, and content production
- Partner closely with creative directors, strategists, designers, technical leads, and vendors to ensure the creative output is best-in-class and aligned with client objectives
- Work alongside production and resource management teams to ensure projects are staffed appropriately, scoped accurately, and delivered to the highest standard
- Bring strategic clarity to creative reviews, helping shape direction and elevate the work
- Anticipate project risks and proactively solve operational and creative challenges
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration across cross-functional project teams
What you’ll bring
- 5–8 years of experience in client services, account leadership, or strategic partnership roles within an agency, studio, or creative production environment
- Proven track record managing $5-7MM in net client revenue, with strong financial and commercial acumen
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary creative engagements from strategy through to delivery
- Proven experience managing large-scale experiential campaigns, brand activations, launches, cultural events, or immersive experiences
- Demonstrated ability to grow client relationships from project-based engagements into longer-term partnerships
- Strong creative instincts — you don't make the work, but you know what good looks like, and you protect it
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and client management skills
- Deep experience overseeing scopes, SOWs, budgets, vendor management, staffing, and production operations
- Ability to navigate both high-level strategy and hands-on execution
- Experience working within multidisciplinary creative environments
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, immersive storytelling, and innovation-driven experiences is a plus
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills — able to articulate vision, strategy, and creative ideas with clarity and conviction
- Calm under pressure, with sharp judgment and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics
- Collaborative leader who understands that great ideas come from anywhere — and creates the conditions for them to surface
- 4x per week on site in our NYC office
